New Queers on the Block film series – Estabrak

Marlborough Productions are delighted to announce that we are continuing work with our pioneering New Queers on the Block project throughout the rest of 2023 and on into 2024! We’re taking innovative artists and their incredible work to new places, forging new relationships as we go, and we’re so excited about what’s in store.
In celebration of the connections we’ve made and work we’ve produced over the past few years, we’re releasing a suite of films from four exceptional artists we commissioned with New Queers on the Block partners in 2022.
In the first film, award-winning cross-disciplinary artist, filmmaker, and facilitator Estabrak reflects on the nature of existence, water, the courage of being an artist that does things differently in a ‘sick and ill’ industry, and how she has found her freedom in the arts.
