We work with queer artists across the UK to create a programme of ground-breaking theatre.
At Marlborough Productions, we proudly produce the work of our Co-Creative Director Tarik Elmoutawakil with his projects Brownton Abbey, Galactic Get Down, and an upcoming international collaborative project with queer artists in Morocco.

Commissioning Support
We are dedicated to fostering innovative projects through our commissioning support. Typically, we support 2-3 commissions a year, usually based on long-standing relationships with artists and companies. Decisions are made around a year in advance of a project commencing.
Recent Commissions:

Please note, we do not have an open call or submission process for commissioning. However, we welcome you to share information about your work or invite us to upcoming performances. You can reach us by email at [email protected]. Please be aware that we are a small team and may not be able to respond fully to each enquiry.
Project Support
While we no longer run a venue and cannot offer rehearsal space, we provide support for projects that align with our artistic mission. This can include:
• Introductions to potential partners
• Marketing support
• Producing advice and project development
We usually make decisions 6 months in advance of a project commencing. Given our limited capacity, we prioritise projects that align with our values and contribute to the development of the art form or sector.
We create and elevate intersectional queer culture.
If you believe your project aligns with our mission, feel free to share information or invite us to upcoming performances by emailing [email protected]. Again, please note that we are a small part-time team and may not be able to respond fully to each enquiry.
